Safety Begins Here: A Housing Resource Day
Did you know 38% of domestic violence victims become homeless at some point in their lives?
Turningpoint has emergency and permanent housing resources to support people who are experiencing domestic violence.
On Friday, October 10--World Homelessness Awareness Day and Domestic Violence Awareness Month--a Turningpoint advocate will be available on site at Second Chances to schedule housing assessments and connect unhoused persons with resources. Individuals who participate in an assessment will be offered a hygiene bag and a gift card to Turningpoint's Second Chances Thrift Store.
