After crossing the finish line at Belle Vinez, you will be invited to celebrate your achievements with treats from Panera and Best Maid Cookies while enjoying the awards ceremony and entertainment.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the celebration and to join us along the spectator-friendly race route. Sign-making and chalk art encouragement opportunities will be available the night before the race.
All proceeds benefit Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence, at 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization based in River Falls. For nearly 40 years, Turningpoint has provided support and resources to achieve freedom from domestic and sexual violence. The organization serves individuals and families throughout Pierce and St. Croix Counties of Wisconsin.

Noon - Course Closes* With a four-and-a-half-hour time limit, participants must maintain an average pace of approximately 20 minutes per mile t0 finish before the course is closed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Can I walk the half-marathon/5k? ABSOLUTELY! Please be mindful that we need to close the course by noon, so you will need to maintain approximately a 20-minute mile to complete the half-marathon in that time.
Will there be bathrooms/port-a-potties? The public bathrooms will be available at the start of the half-marathon at Weitkamp Park. There is a port-a-potty at mile 4.5. There will be port-a-potties at Belle Vinez (finish).
Where are the water stops? There will be water at the start of the half-marathon at Weitkamp Park; at Mile 2 (near Teens for Christ); Mile 4 (near Glover Park); Mile 6 (S. Glover at Chinnock); Mile 8.5 (Bjerstadt and County Road M); Mile 10 (County Road M. and 1090th) and near Mile 12.
What about Gu? There will be Gu Energy Gel at Mile 6 (S. Glover at Chinnock). Flavors are Mandarin Orange, Blackberry, and Vanilla.
What flavor is the Powerade? There will be Powerade at Miles 4 (near Glover Park); Mile 8.5 (Bjerstadt and County Road M); and Mile 12.
Can I run with my dog? No, I’m sorry. We love pets, too; but for safety reasons, our insurance policy will not allow us to bring dogs onto the course.
Are men/boys allowed to run in these race? Yes, we welcome participation from men and boys! However we will only be providing awards to the top female finishers, and the race shirts are cut for women.
Can I run with a stroller? No, I’m sorry. Due to some of the narrow paths along the course, we cannot allow strollers.
What are the post-race refreshments? Panera will provide bagels, and Best Maid will be sponsoring post-race treats. Kwik Trip will be providing bananas. We encourage our runners to visit Belle Vinez for additional post-race refreshments.
Will there be sweat bag drop? No, we will not offer bag drop this year.
Are you providing wine? We cannot legally purchase wine for our participants. You are welcome and encouraged to purchase your own wine at Belle Vinez during packet pickup on Friday from 12:00 – 8:00, or on Saturday after 11:00 AM.
Are there medals? Yes! Every finisher is amazing! Every finisher will receive a finisher medallion.
What are the prizes for the top finishers? The top female finisher in each age category will receive a $20 gift card to Second Chances Thrift Store.
