Calling our 24-hour crisis line is the first step a victim of domestic or sexual abuse takes to receive free and confidential services. Trained staff and volunteers offer information and emotional support to callers in crisis and non-crisis situations. Families and friends of victims who call the crisis line can also receive information and emotional support.
Crisis intervention and emotional support are also provided to victims on an individual and group basis for both shelter residents and the community. Our Program Coordinators assist victims in creating goals and safety plans. Our goal is to empower victims. Support Groups are offered for victims to process their situations in a safe environment with other individuals who are experiencing or who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence. During our domestic violence support group there is also a concurrent children's support group.
For more information and support group times, call the crisis line at 1-800-345-5104.
