Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness

Our Annual Domestic Abuse Awareness Walk, held on 9/29/08, was a tremendous success. The walk was dedicated to the Memory of Sue Weiland and over 150 walkers attended the event. Thanks to all who participated in the walk, as well as to all who made pledges and donations. Approximately $12,000 was raised.

The 2008 walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th. We hope to see you there!

People are not to be blamed
for the violence
committed against them.
•••
No one deserves to be
abused, used, or beaten.
•••
Everyone should feel safe
in his or her own home.
•••
Nobody should fear the one
he or she loves.

People deserve to be treated
with dignity and respect.
